She believes it’s important for children to read books that are reflective of their own experiences, as well as other cultures and she seeks to create these opportunities through her books and wider writing. She is a bold, vibrant and dynamic creative writer who continues to achieve critical acclaim on a global scale. We worked on a number of key PR media relations and messaging campaigns for Tọlá which achieved national press coverage and increased personal branding reach.
Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé
Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé is the instant New York Times, International bestselling, & Award-winning author of ACE OF SPADES, WHERE SLEEPING GIRLS LIE and FOUR EIDS AND A FUNERAL. She has also written stories for Marvel’s Spider-Verse and BBC’s Doctor Who. In 2024 she was a world book day author with her title THE DOOMSDAY DATE. Faridah is an avid tea drinker, a collector of strange mugs, and a graduate from a university in Scotland where she received a BA in English Literature. We undertook joint PR for her global bestselling book, Ace of Spades and helped with the overarching brand strategy and positioning of her as leading author.
GROWN: The Black Girls' Guide to Growing-Up and Showing-Out
This was the debut book from Melissa Cummings-Quarry and Natalie A. Carter, best friends and co-founders of the coveted Black Girls' Book Club, and features contributions from inspirational voices. GROWN is for Black girls everywhere and served as an ode to Black girlhood and a celebration of Black British culture, this book aimed to empower a generation to chase their dreams, lift up other women and become unstoppable. We worked on the media relations and PR strategy for the book as part of the wider PR and marketing team.
The Other Black Girl by Zakiya Dalila Harris
We worked on the UK media relations campaign for the release of The Other Black Girl as part of the wider PR team and focused on reaching Black British Communities with authentic and well-thought out PR messaging.
Twice As Hard: Navigating Black Stereotypes And Creating Space For Success by Opeyemi Sofoluke and Raphael Sofoluke
Twice as Hard is an exploration of Black identity in the workplace as well as a blueprint for success, written by entrepreneurial husband and wife team Raphael and Opeyemi Sofoluke. We undertook the lead on media relations achieving national press coverage and enhancing author personal brand positioning as debut authors.

The LUXPreneur: How to Start and Build a Successful Luxury Brand offers a comprehensive exploration into the world of luxury entrepreneurship. We worked on a media relations outreach campaign to place Elizabeth in diverse media outlets in luxury, enterprise and beyond.
