The Cultural Infusions of London-Based Label Isossy Children Stand Out At New York Fashion Week
Isossy Children creates contemporary culturally infused children’s clothes collections that continue to be a 'breath of fresh air' for consumers across the world. The London Based label showcased at New York Fashion Week in September 2016 with the SS17 'And here she is!’ collection as well as its signature Denim Collection, ICDC. By bringing the unconscious awareness of the inner child to the surface, highlighting playful, electric and uncompromising pieces the collection tell a unique story of cultural fluidity for children.
The label has used silver moon consciousness and luxe gold richness throughout the SS17 collection in beautiful silks. The textile prints for both SS17 and Isossy Children Denim Collection ICDC are infused with hints of African graphics taken from elements of Designer Amanda Rabor's paintings and the Inuit artwork she uses as inspiration. The ICDC17 collection draws on Amanda's historical references of NYC during late 60s and 70s with a modern and edgy twist, including unisex pieces throughout.
The Isossy Children cultural infusion is evident in this collection, capturing elegance, fierce individuality and playfulness, it brings vivacious colour and texture to the girls’ clothing market.
Isossy Children continues to highlight the power of reinventing and refreshing the label’s collections as a global fashion brand for children that will inspire the confidence, creativity and self-belief of children growing up and living in a diverse world. The label continues to offer fashion forward designs for girls and this collection is no exception.
